Jacqueline "JD" Denise Richards

CEO and Founder of Expozure Salon & Training Institute

As a little girl, JD Richards watched her grandmother style hair in her home based salon. Years later after meeting her husband, (who is also a stylist) she became fascinated with the beauty industry.  J.D. has been in the hair care industry for 30 years.  She is CEO of Expozure Salon & Training Institute based in her home town of Chattanooga, TN. Her work has been showcased in Ebony, Essence, Black Hair Sophisticate, Jet Magazine and other publications.

Lewis Richards is a 33 year Master Hair Stylist and Cosmetology Instructor from Chattanooga, TN. Lewis loves sharing his knowlege and wisdom with up and coming stylist. Lewis graduated from Shelton Beauy College in 1981, and has worked in various salons in Chattanooga and Atlanta, GA. Upon becoming a salon owner in 1996 with his wife JD,  Lewis has worked as a platform artist with major companies like Designers Touch, KINK, and SoftSheen/Carson. Lewis is Milady and Pivot Point Certified, along with receiving Personal Coaching on "How to Mentor and Inspire Others to Amazing Growth" from the Pacific Institute. He has also received training from "Mindful Teaching" (A Professional Development  Series) taught by Pivot Point. Lewis is currently President of Expozure Salon and Training Institute where he shares his knowlege and skills to help train and develope the skill sets of  licensed stylist.

Joe "Doctor Jay" Jefferson, is a 20 year Master Barber and owner of "Dr. Jays" located inside of Expozure Salon & Training Institute. Dr. Jay  developed a passion for barber styling when he was about 12 years old. Wanting to become liscensed so he could mentor the next generation, JJ enrolled and graduated from the National School of Hair Design in 1994. He joined the staff at Expozure in 1995 and never looked back. Dr. Jay has earned the title as "A Gentlemans Barber" because his grooming techniques are second to none. Although his clientel consist mostly of professionals, his love for people allows his talent to be  showcased on all who desires to see the Dr.

Kimberly "The Sure Stylist" Craig, 23, is from Chattanooga TN and has been a licensed cosmetologist for 4 years. As a teenager she found her gift to style and braid ethnic hair. After making good tips and putting smiles on the faces of friends and family, Kim's creative passion for hair design grew into what she knew she was born to do.

Upon graduation from high school, Kim enrolled  and finished beauty school and is currently lead stylist at Expozure Salon & Training Institute where she has worked for 4 years. She trained under JD Richards Ionic Fusion ("the look and feel of a relaxer without a chemical") technique and has mastered it.

Kim has trained up and coming stylist through her braidology techniques at "Teen Cosmetologist in the Making" (a cosmetology camp for teens), hosted be Expozure Salon for the past 3 years. Kim specializes in Natural Hair, loves a challenge,  and  is open to learn more at all times. KIM " The Sure Stylist" CRAIG is definitely the one to watch.

Poinita R. Norwood has been passionate about the art of hair for as long as she can remember. She loves to make her clients feel beautiful, inside and out.  She started out design braiding and has become very skillful in natural hair care and styling techniques. Loc maintenance and styling has become one of her most artful and well known talents. She is a recent graduate of Virginia College where she received a 4.0 GPA. Setting her goals exceptionally high, Poinita Norwood desires to be one of the best natural hair educator in the country. Poinita has been a licensed stylist since November 2013 she is a member of the style team and a natural hair artist at Expozure Salon.
